Aim Cooks Up Gratitude All Summer Long
In the fast-paced and competitive world of business, there is one thing that Aim Transportation Solutions refuses to let slide: employee appreciation. While salaries and benefits are essential, there's another aspect of employee satisfaction that should never be overlooked: recognition and appreciation.
One of the ways Aim Transportation Solutions shows appreciation to our employees is by hosting employee appreciation lunches at each of our shops nationwide. As you may have seen on Aim’s social media over the summer, our awesome service managers and local teams host a lunch in their respective shops to show appreciation for the job each Aim employee performs daily. Most of the lunches are also attended by a member or two from our executive team in addition to the local folks.
Employee appreciation lunches are more than just a delicious meal. They serve as a symbol of an organization's commitment to recognizing the hard work and dedication of its employees. By setting aside time for these events, companies can create a culture of appreciation that extends beyond the lunch table.
“We hope our employees always know how appreciated they are, because without them, we wouldn’t be where we are today,” said Co-President Geoff Fleming. “These employee appreciation lunches are a great way to hit pause, step away from our busy days and make sure our employees know how grateful we are for their dedication and hard work.”
Carli Kuntze, Aim’s Vice President of Human Resources, coordinated the largest of these picnics, our Youngstown HQ appreciation lunch which saw over a hundred in attendance and was catered by local Youngstown area favorite Barry Dyngles.
“So many employees talk about Aim as a second family, and that’s exactly what these appreciation lunches feel like: a big family get-together with fantastic food and fantastic people, which makes it a great way to show our gratitude for the hard work everyone puts in throughout the year,” said Carli Kuntze.
