On Wednesday, April 19, Aim Transportation Solutions held a kick-off event at their Trumbull Avenue office in Youngstown, OH to celebrate their new partnership with ELD supplier, Platform Science.

“After a very long search, we’re excited to enter this partnership with the best in the business,” said Aim Vice President of Safety Ron Bourque. “Platform Science offers the most advanced technology with the most flexibility.”

The experts from Platform Science rolled up to Aim’s HQ in their Connected Vehicle Lab and hosted demonstrations of the platform. Aim employees and prospective employees were able to see the new capabilities that will be available to Aim’s team of drivers and driver support personnel.

“The integrations within the Platform Science app are easy to use and eliminate the need for any duplicate entries—expediting the pre-trip inspection process and allowing drivers to report any issues quickly and efficiently,” said Bourque. “This partnership will revolutionize the way we’re able to communicate with our drivers and allow us to further prioritize driver safety.”

Platform Science offers customizable solutions for in-cab scanning, driver logs, navigation, and much more. It is, first and foremost, a platform that allows for integration with other popular industry apps like Aim’s Netradyne camera system, and even competitor apps.

The customization and flexibility offered by Platform Science is key to this newly-formed partnership. In providing anyone with a product to transport or a load to haul with services ranging from full-service leasing, tailored maintenance programs, and rental options to total fleet management, professional shop management, and third-party logistics, Aim relies on the flexibility of our partners and the various platforms it uses to support these customizable services Aim provides to its customers.

In addition to tours in the Platform Science Connected Vehicle Lab, attendees were treated to Aim and Platform Science swag, a cookout, door prizes and raffles, and a few exciting games of cornhole with custom Aim boards being raffled off.

Platform Science representatives spent the day answering questions and meeting with the Aim team to learn more about the needs of the individuals who will be using their system on a daily basis.

Aim driver Brian Gwin was on-site for the event. Brian drives for Aim’s Hydro account out of Cressona, PA.

“I’m glad I stopped by. [Platform Science] seems to be very user-friendly and will be an improvement from the current product,” said Brian.

In addition to offering customizable solutions to customers, Aim also strives to be a top industry employer. The technology we select to support our team is thoroughly vetted and rigorously tested to provide the absolute best experience for our drivers and technicians and the teams who support them.
